Our 2017 GCOW Fall Meeting and Awards will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Old Hickory GC in Beaver Dam, WI. 


9:00 am – Registration for Fall Meeting & Awards

9:30 a.m. – Corporate Member Tables Open

10 – 10:45 a.m. -- Granular Marketing

Steve Kroll from Granular Marketing will speak on “Get Found Online by Your Target Audience:  A Five-Step Game plan”! 

Getting your website launched and social media profiles created and filled with content used to be good enough. However, with savvy competitors investing in consultants & agencies, as well as using marketing tactics like pay-per-click, SEO and other methods, they're getting found while you're not. So, what do you do? Attendees of this rapid-fire presentation will get a step-by-step game plan on how to make sense of the changing digital marketing marketplace and take action so they can get found online by their target audience.

11:45 – Noon -- Jason Boaz, PGA Career Consultant

Jason will speak on the benefits of hiring a PGA Professional for your course and provide you with information on the services and benefits we offer owners that hire a PGA Professional

12 – 12:30 p.m. – 2017 US Open in Review -- Erin Hills.

John Morrissett from Erin Hills will give a review on what it took to put together an event of this magnitude and the economic impact the event provided.

12:30 p.m. – Luncheon

1:30 p.m. – GCOW Awards Presentations

The GCOW will recognize the outstanding courses and individuals with our annual awards presentation. 

3:00 p.m. – Cash Bar and Appetizer Reception

3:30 p.m. – GCOW Board Meeting (Closed Meeting)

Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin

The mission of the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin (GCOW) is to provide education and advocacy on behalf of its members and to promote golf throughout the state of Wisconsin. The GCOW, established as a non-profit association in 1984, is a member of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA). It is governed by an elected board of directors.


The GCOW is an association that supports the golf course owners and operators in the State of Wisconsin. By representing and working on behalf of Wisconsin's courses, we serve to promote, protect and educate its members of all sizes.


We aspire to provide many benefits for golf course owners including:

In addition, by becoming a member of the GCOW, all courses also become members of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOAand receive all the benefits they provide such as Smart Buy Programs, LIST SERVE and many more programs and services.


To accomplish its objectives, the GCOW has created strategic partnerships with the Wisconsin State Golf Association (WSGA), PGA – Wisconsin Section, the Wisconsin State Department of Tourism, and the Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association (WBBA).


The GCOW offices are in the Golf House of Wisconsin, located at 11350 W. Theo Trecker Way, West Allis, WI 53214.  We are proud to share offices with the PGA--Wisconsin Section and the Wisconsin State Golf Association (WSGA).
